One house at a time

Thanks B, for sending this along to me.  I was struck by this recurring theme of individuals not ‘waiting for the world to change’ but going ahead and doing something, fully realizing that they may not achieve the ‘end’ during their lifetime, but the few lives that they may touch will create a wave of positive giving. Small miracles > big change.

I have had recent communication with Sammy Jacobs Abbey who is the Director of the International Centre for Conflict and Human Rights Analysis (ICCHRA) in Ghana.  We are discussing Mr. Abbey’s participation in one of our panel discussions for PeaceFest.  The ICCHRA is conducting an African Regional Summit over the next few days.  We wish them great success and applaud their continuing efforts in advancing the cause of peace.  The objectives of the ICCHRA are to:

  • To end prejudice and violence within mankind
  • To work for implementation of human rights that encompasses political, economic, cultural and social rights for all people.
  • For the establishment of a culture of peace and a new civilization that is based on respect for life, the environment and for each other.
